The Forks and the Canadian Museum for Human Rights work well as a single day plan. Both are close together, and each can take two or more hours if you move at a steady pace.

Morning at The Forks Market

The Forks Market is open daily. Published market hours are 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Some tenants run their own schedules.

Midday museum visit

CMHR regular hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, with Mondays closed. Adult admission is listed at $23, with reduced pricing for students and seniors, and free entry for children six and under and Indigenous visitors.

Ticket timing: CMHR tickets are sold online and at the desk. Buying ahead can reduce queue time on busy weekends.

Riverfront and return

After the museum, walk the river paths and return to The Forks for dinner. If weather shifts, indoor seating at the market keeps the day flexible.
